Who we are

Use Parkopedia to access information on over 70 million parking spaces in 15,000 cities around the world – and counting – thanks to contributions from drivers like you.

Every driver has suffered parking anxiety – usually when running late and there’s not a minute to lose. It’s a familiar frustration that’s inspired us to map and list parking spaces across the world so you can find (and pay for) one that’s just right for you.

With Parkopedia you can:

• Find parking using your current location or by entering an address
• Get directions straight to the space
• See parking space availability in real-time (where available, Premium account required)
• Find opening hours, up to date prices, payment methods and more
• Quickly narrow down parking choices using filters such as free, credit cards accepted, covered, etc.

Help boost our coverage

If we don’t yet have coverage in your area, drop us an email and we’ll keep you updated on progress. Adding a space you think others would find helpful is easy. Simply upload a photo of a parking sign or price list and we’ll do the rest.

Pros and cons of Parkopedia Parking app for iPhone and iPad

Parkopedia Parking app good for

Great app for finding out where the heck to park and if its got security, something criterial to downtown Vancouver drivers
This is a great app that makes life a lot easier, but its not very reliable when it comes to pricing. Often times the pricing schemes are off completely, but price range remains similar. Overall 4/5, great app
Fantastic resource for checking what crazy parking rates are on streets and lots in Vancouver Canada. And works in many other cities all over the world, depending on contributions.
Downloaded the app, used it on the same day and saved time and money. Im glad I got the app
Used it to find parking at St. Pauls hospital in Vancouver, B.C. Would never have found the front entrance without the 180 degree street view that is a function of the app. A lot of work has gone into making this App functional and user-friendly.
It looks very promising, I will use the Apps in Milan and Turin Italy next week, I will report after the trip...

Some bad moments

The current version just crashes on startup. I even tried removing the app and reinstalling it but it still crashes.
In Toronto ap seems unable to find most info. A waste of money.
They asked me to upgrade but I dont know how much they charge me. I am wondering they try to make use of me. Be careful. Dont download.
Great looking app, but but first experience with it sucked. I made and paid for a reservation, only to find out that the reservation wouldn’t be accepted by the garage unless I printed out the confirmation. Problem is I was already en route and I don’t happen to keep a printer in my car. Also, the reservation never showed up on the Current Booking page, so I had no way to refer back to it other than the email.
The ability to enter your arrival and departure time is key to the usefulness of this app. Makes little sense to use the app without, especially when you can still access this important feature for free on the Parkopedia website. Essentially, what youd be paying for by upgrading the app is restoring the convenience of using this feature (which was once free) on the app. Its worth noting that the upgrade is not a one-time fee, but rather a subscription fee that you must pay annually to keep these once-free features unlocked. The amount of the fee is irrelevant... Its poor form for a company to remove a feature from the free version of an app and hide it behind a fee (especially a subscription). I wish that I could uninstall the app update so that I could use the app again in the way that I always have. Im using the Parkopedia website now to find parking instead of using the app. Suggestion to Parkopedia: If it is necessary to begin charging a fee for these features, grandparent-in existing users and begin charging the fee for new users. This is the most ethical way to introduce a fee for something that was once free. It fosters goodwill with existing users and provides a way to begin charging a fee for the features. (Other than this issue, Parkopedia is a great app.)
Definitely the most comprehensive in my area and always a great helper when I travel. Great job on the redesign!
